hi people! back from hongkong for a week and i'm still missing the holiday :( one more week to D and i am so not looking forward :(

i had a great holiday, mike was like an angel, he waited for me patiently while i shopped, carried my shopping bags without any complaints and massage my legs in the middle of the night when i told him my legs are aching and i cant sleep. i would say he really took great care of me and gave in to whatever i wanted. sometimes i feel so blessed to have him by my side :) we had a little small cold war for..15mins? he was holding my hand and crossing the road and then i shouted at him cos i felt that it was quite dangerous to cross at that time. he got unhappy as he felt that i shouted at him for nothing and refused to talk to me for 15mins but still held my hand while we were crossing roads. hahaha ok i guess it's enough of telling all of you how in love i am..getting kind of sickening right i know.

been spending some time with lu too :) so glad that she's in singapore for this end of the year, it's been so long since we spent the festive season together! wish mag is here too.

oh my, this blog has been so neglected that i think i should shut it down! why do i feel like i have not enough time every single day? everyday when i come back from work it's like bathe, eat, tv, talk to bf and then time for bed! no time for my gossip girl s3, magazines, nail painting, online shopping etc etc!
okay..a short update, quit my job and am looking forward (not!) to Del***te in 4 weeks. going to hongkong with mikey, cousin & raymond in 2 days' time! omg have been looking forward to this for the longest time. probably the best way to celebrate our one year anniversary. yes, it has been a year, and yes, time flies. hmm..what else? am really addicted to coffee; caught 2012 yesterday; my parents failed their first attempt at making calamari.... okie many random stuffs but i guess it's senseless.
back to packing my luggage! yay.

Hi all! Hope you guys had a great weekend. Pre-monday blue sucks isn't it? I had a usual-like weekend. Went shopping with Mike on saturday and there was this mattress fair at suntec and we bought a couple hundred bucks worth of pillows and bedsheets. Totally random, and we had to squeeze five big boxes of pillows in the car. After that we went to hanabi @ katong for dinner and then we were so full we decided to walk to parkway's Giant to replenish our supply of ice cream at home. Due to the green tea during dinner, i had trouble falling asleep at night and i forced him to tell me a bedtime story. He attempted to tell the story of little red riding hood but decided to add a twist to it by naming the wolf Mr Horny Wolf, and also, poor little red riding hood was gang-banged by woodcutters on the way to her grandma's place. Damn irritating lor, i asked him to forget it, i will do without the story.

Went to my grandma's place today to accompany her play blackjack with her siblings etc. I tell you, those grandmothers really can make me ear permanantly damaged. Planned to go for facial with my cousin but we cancelled it last minute cos my dad dont want to let me use the car and we were lazy to walk the long way out to get a cab, plus it was about to rain. Anyway, lost $22 at blackjack. =( Need some mahjong fix !!

I am darn bored!!!! 2 more hours to knock off. Want to go home watch tv while feasting on cookies (bought 2 big packs from candy empire). 3 more days to weekend, why still so far?!!? Have lots of photos to post but I guess all of you can refer to facebook. Ok, when i'm free I will post some here. Yes i am rambling. Need to think of something interesting to do this weekend. Mike and I went to out favourite little korean restaurant on saturday and ordered more than the table of 4 beside us. Yep, he is putting on weight and he says he wants to go to the gym three times a week. He is persuading me to sign up for gym membership with him but I tell him I will only accompany him to swim. Other than swimming and playing tennis, dont attempt to ask me to engage in other sports. Yes, i am lazy.

Sigh, i'm so sick of work...month end closing is a bitch. super duper monday blues today:(:(

Luckily my weekend is always enjoyable and relaxing to make up for my bitter week. Met ziyan and the rest for dinner followed by drinks at clarke quay on friday. Drinks = mocktails in this case, only the guys drank alcohol. Ended the night quite early (to them but not to me) cos i wanted to join Mike and his colleagues for dimsum the next day morning. but who knows i slept until 12+ on sat..haha really very tired.

Attended Mike's friend's wedding dinner on sat. Wedding dinner always make me feel like getting married too. It's like although i dont really know the couple, watching them exchange vows and the montage kinda makes me feel like tearing.

July is approaching and i'm excited cos many things are happening this month! My convocation, cousin's rom, etc etc.
Spent the weekend accompanying Mike prepare for his upcoming exams, i will read magazine, play my ds or watch the 9pm show shuang zi xin online when he's not using his computer. quite a boring weekend but i'm fine with it, as long as we have good food, i'm happy. hahaha! we had supper yummy bak kut teh on sat night and japanese food today. and i have a super good news!!! there's this new soya beancurd shop near my place! yayyy! so convenient no need to drive to selegie anymore.
Work has been fine these days. Perhaps i've already got the hang of most of the stuff already. And i''m addicted to coffee.

weekends always pass by so quickly:( sigh. pre-monday blues on sunday night is horrible. spent a great weekend with Mike, we had a late dinner followed by ice cream on friday, kuishin bo on saturday and a yummy dinner with his parents today. he is putting on weight and he blames it on me! but it's really not my fault, he's always the one who's suggesting to go eat eat eat.
oh ya!! i went to pulau ubin with my company on friday for "team building". first time there but i think i won't ever go there again. hahaha. please! it was so hot i applied sunblock three times in a few hours and i had a headache for 2 days due to the heat i guess. it was good socializing with my colleagues (and the cute english bosses) but bad venue i would say.

went to the ktv with my best pals and mike last sat. poor mike was kinda left out cos kelvin didnt come. anyway big splash was horrible cos of the crowd and long queues.

Work has started since two weeks ago, and i tell you, i've never been busier. damn..i hardly have time for anything. start work at 10am, knock off at 7pm, sometimes i work a little later (until 8pm on friday!!), by the time i reach home it'll be like 8pm, and by 11pm i will start to feel real sleepy :( some evenings i'll have dinner with my friends but i will be very tired too. i've no time to paint my nails, play my ds, watch gossip girl and korean f4 etc. fri night and sat will be spend with mike, sunday i will go to my grandma's place in the afternoon and then facial. that is all! my life has started to become a routine and i hate it! this is such a negative post :(

happy mothers' day to the greatest women, including my mum and grandmum. went restaurant hopping just now because all the restaurants were so crowded due to the mothers' day crowd. i thought the economy is bad?!

celebrated ZR's 22nd on friday at sushi tei (vip room!) and b&j @ dempsey. the band at b&j was not bad, they played songs that i like. but the ice cream is pricey. and 12 scoops of different flavours all tasted the same as they were all drenched in hot fudge, brownie and M&Ms. (mich and mike! haha) i hope everyone enjoyed themselves. it's like we only meet up for birthdays only nowadays :( we need to meet up more for mahjong you know.

accompanied Mike do his school work on saturday. other than giving him some ideas, and helping him a little with powerpoint (NTU has trained me to be an expert in powerpoint), i practically just stared in space for that few hours. i think i'm so nice! caught x-men at night and i actually liked it! was very reluctant to watch it at first cos it's not my kind of genre.

hi guys, life is still as usual- shopping, eating, watching tv and lazing. but all these will officially cease on monday because i have found a job! went through 2 rounds of interview and i surprisingly got the job because i thought i didn't really do well during the 2nd one with the finance director. anyway i'm happy for myself.

went to sentosa's songs of the sea last friday (finally!). have been bugging mike to go but he always manage to find a reason not to. oh ya and before that we had an arguement (the biggest one in our relationship so far), but i'm glad it lasted for less than an hour. we had lunch only at 4pm cos of the quarrel and we were so hungry we ordered 3 main courses (and had ice cream after that). hahah, eh not me, it was him. anyway songs of the sea was not too bad, but the queue was scary, and the humid weather didnt help. we were told that seating starts at 8.20pm and we were there at 8pm (after sitting the sentosa tram twice) but there wasnt anybody so we thought "yay can get a good seat!". little did we knew that the queue was already as long as....a thousand snakes at the other gate! damn.

Exams has ended since a week ago, and the past week was well spent! Anyway, finally out of NTU and ulu boonlay. On the last day of exams, EeLing and I and some other friends went for lunch at jurong point cos we know we will not go back there for a longgg time or maybe forever, haha!

Lulu is back:) Together with Mag, we met for coca steamboat and movies, just like our secondary school days - buffet and movie on every Friday, also known as FriendsDay for us. Other than that, I went shopping, swam (twice in a week), cooked at Mag's house, ate non-stop with Mike and lazing around watching dvd and tv. Damn good life i know, but i guess all these will not last long, because being a very proactive me, i have started to look for a temp job before my officicial job commences in December with Deloitt*.

one more week to exams :( :( :( shucks, i hate this feeling i get twice a year. finally it's gonna be the last one already! anyway i think i'm falling sick! this is bad. i have 3 ulcers in my mouth and it's god damn painful. must be the fault of the korean food (very spicy)+ brownie + sticky chewy chocolate ice cream on Sat. it makes me feel irritable and the poor person who gets all my temper will be Mike. Have been kinda busy lately with quizzes. Plus M's mum has been feeling unwell for the past week. We went for movies twice last week and for both times, we had to leave half an hour into the show cos his mum wasn't feeling well. So it was a week of stoning in the hospital + driving behind the ambulance. Anyway she's fine now and I'm so glad.

A few more weeks to end of school life. I can't decide to be happy or sad!!?!

what happened to my recess week! :( instead of resting and having fun, i was doing more work than usual. well..you can say it's my fault cos i've been lagging far too behind, too much slacking already. hahaha. last presentation of my 3-year uni life on tues, finally!

brought my little cousins out on sunday. they're such little terrors cos they eat alot and are very noisy. brought them for jap food, fish feeding and ice cream. they could each finish one huge cone okay. little terrors but still cute and i love them! and they wore matching clothes, just like my sis and i when we were young. didn't really liked it though, hahaha.

two weekends ago, i celebrated 3 birthdays in a row. Ziyan's on thurs, hazel's on fri and yan ling's on saturday! had a really great time with everyone.

i think i'm going to be condemn for life cos i fell asleep for 2 hours in the bar while ziyan and the rest continue to drink and merry! but really very tired ma, had a morning class that day!!

went to a small little restaurant recommended by hungrygowhere. but it was a disappointment cos the service was bad and they seemed to can't wait to get us out of their restaurant. the food was only average too.

yan ling's 22nd
finally met up with engteck and cherkun and they're as funny as before!

valentine's day was memorable too:) although the programmes really didnt go according to plan and i feel bad for throwing my temper, but everything still turned out good in the end.

lastly, i just skipped a quiz today!!

HI ALL! Happy Chinese New Year! Today is the 7th day of CNY, which is the lao yu-sheng day. I had yu-sheng 4 times this year, once with my family and the 2hm peeps and twice with mike and his family. hahaha but i dont mind as long as it brings me all the luck! so how have cny been for all of you? mine has been great! but it's really damn tiring to be sleeping late everyday. i think im getting older.... turning 22 this year, damn.

So let me recall what i did for the past week.. on day one of chinese new year, it was at my grandma's place and another grandpa's place.. went ktv at night till 3am..

Went to Mike's place on the second day and then to Hazel's place in the evening and to mike's friend's place at night then back to Mike's place. Damn tiring day!!! but i enjoyed myself..

On the third day of CNY, i had a project meeting (damn sian!!) but i managed to leave early..haha.. had dinner with mike's family and it was the first official dinner, very nervous can.. but his family members are nice :)

On thursday, i went to school in the morning, temple in the afternoon and met the usual people for steamboat in the evening, and we drove up to mount faber at night..ziyan said i gave her a very WC face at 1030pm..haha cant help it lar, really very tired what!!

Was really exhausted by friday and so i literally spent the whole day sleeping at home! Went to jasper's place on saturday for our yearly yu sheng and gambling session (this one not yearly).

Yesterday mike's friends came over for more gambling.. and we won! yay! wearing red from head to toe never fails to bring money in. hahaha. rushed to meet my family for dinner after that.

This week is so tiring! I've been waking up before 7 for 3 consecutive days already, tmr got 0830 class again. Who says my timetable is slack huh??? And i've been diligently packing my room every afternoon too. Really damn alot of rubbish, but once in a while something really cute/funny/interesting/childish and forgotten will pop out of nowhere and i will have a little good laugh at it. Anyway, one more day to school and yay! (long day though): ).

Celebrated Mag's 22nd with a surprise for her at timbre and dimsum on sunday at goodwood park hotel. Happy Birthday Bestie!

Went shopping the whole day with Mike on sat as he was doing last minute shopping. very tiring! and i sort of forced him to have supper when he wants to go back and sleep instead. anyway we were taking photos in Han's (our new supper hangout, haha) and i think this photo is damn funny cos we were trying to see whose eyes are bigger.

School is so boring!!! :( My elective was so boring that eeling and I left the lecture 50 minutes into it. it's a 3-hour lecture by the way. sigh.. weekend come quick please??

my last weekend was great! watched red cliff 2 on friday night. on saturday, i played a bit of mahjong at my cousin's place and went prawning with hazel, mag and boyfriends. prawning is fun!! and the prawn was yummilicious. quite cruel to the prawns lar, but if i dont fish and eat them, somebody else would right? so, yup, that's the way to make myself feel better about killing them alive. and i like to irritate Mike by asking him "where's our prawn where's our prawn where's our prawn" by his ear and he would reply me "be patient, must concentrate" haha!! it was a great night surrounded by my best friends and my boyfriend and their boyfriends. hazel is back and i'm happy:)

the new and final semester begins this week and i dread it! my timetable is a 3-day week, but guess what, 0830 lesson on all 3 days! oh my god! waking up at 6.30am is one of the things i hate to do the most!! compared to my waking time of 12pm now, it's more than half of my sleeping time gone! so it's either i sleep earlier (which is hard cos my bio clock is tuned to sleeping at 3am) or i make do with lesser sleep (which is also hard cos i'll doze off in class and it's bad for my complexion) sigh, that's life and that's school:( oh ya anyway my monday class is a 2hr lecture only so i foresee a self declared 2-day week in this semester. haha! but having so much time also no use lar, my friends are all in school and mike is at work. so much free time also stay at home and idle it away..hazel is back, so maybe i can idle my time away with her, haha..

last saturday i met zy and kl at parkway and we spent the whole day eating! this eat-non-stop journey started from 3pm when we had the parkway ban mian (which i have been craving!) and i had a grass jelly. it was followed by latte and magazine reading at mccafe. after that, at around 6, we went to queue at aston's and had our dinner at 7. after dinner, kl and i walked to ecp and had some dessert at the hk cafe. yup, i basically ate non stop for 6hours. life is great(in this way)! hahaha.

yesterday mike had a half day leave and we spent the afternoon shopping, eating and watching movie. we have basically watched every movie available except this journey to the centre of the earth, 3D version. and it was super cool! i felt like i could reach out my hand to touch the birds flying around in the movie. anyway it was a great day cos the mall wasn't crowded at all on a monday afternoon.

Happy 2009! Hope all of you had a great new yr eve's party! I had a wonderful time with the usual group of people and Mike. we booked a room in copthorne king's hotel and had potluck. the food was great, there were lots of booze, and my favourite is of course the chocolate fondue. i guess there's no better way to welcome the new year with my friends and my love:) we took a video of our wishes for the new year and i hope it'll all come true k? (accept the "zi sun man tang" by mr mike) really hope it'll be a good year for everyone!

2008

2008 is coming to an end and for once, i actually think i had a really good year! firstly, my results were not too bad for the two semesters in 2008. secondly, i got my driving license, in addition, secured a job for myself after graduation. last, but not the least, a very special person entered my life in 2008, although very late in the year, but better late than never! oh ya! i also had a good internship and met a bunch of colleagues which have become my very good friends. and finally, i turned 21 this year too.

come to think of it, i can't really recall anything very bad or exactly very unhappy that happened! maybe.. my mahjong luck which isn't very good this year? oh one bad thing is losing a friend to a fox-in-disguised. hahaha, well..i can't really do anything about it. i also found out how detestable another person is, and once again, i cant really do anything about it, just disappointed i guess.

i'm grateful for everything i have this year, and i'm thankful for all the people around me. looking forward to 2009! may it be better than 2008!

Hi all, hope all of you had a very merry christmas and happy boxing day! I had a very good time despite of the cold i'm nursing. on the eve of christmas eve, i joined mike and his colleagues at st james for some drinks. and on christmas eve, it was the yearly christmas gathering at my uncle's place. the kids are so lucky! they have so many presents and has so much fun opening their presents. and they could eat as much cake and brownies as they liked. haha..

after that, i caught a movie with mike and his friends and after the movie, we spent the first few hours of christmas, just the two of us, in a simple but yet unforgettable way. i reached home at 4am and to my surprise, i was the first to reach home! am i old already or are my siblings staying out too late?? haha! anyway had dinner with mike (again!) on christmas day itself and by 10pm, he told me he's damn tired already. hahaha 2 consecutive late night is too much for him!

i have so much time i've watched so many drama serials this december. jia hao yue yuan, gossip girl, and i'm currently at season 4 of sex and the city. hahaha. and mobtv is great!! (courtesy of ziyan) i just downloaded 4 episodes of wild orchid, can't wait to watch! you know wild orchid?? a damn old sch drama of fann wong and thomas ong about this orchid that can glow in the dark or something? thomas ong is so cute! and i've also caught every nice movie available in the cinemas already.

anyway, met my jc clique yesterday and we had so much fun catching up and laughing at our dreadful days in SA. we laughed at how we will pray that we dont see our PE teacher's mini cooper at the carpark during PE days, how we fall asleep in the reading room, how we could not even produce a paragraph of our essay after one hour etc. :)

i also met my ex colleagues on friday to celebrate sharon's birthday at this restaurant in riverview hotel. well, i can only say that it sucks, really below standard.

on saturday, i had an early christmas celebration with mike and his friends. great fun, great food, and it's good to know more of his friends.

i know he looks ugly here! but, that's good! i like it when he doesn't look as good as i do. hahaha

I had the most enjoyable and unforgettable saturday! visited the zoo after 12 years since my last visit in primary 3, i think. it was so exciting! and of course, the company was wonderful.

photos of some of the animals! my camera's battery went flat in an hour (yes yes, i forgot to charge the battery) and i finally could put my phone's camera to some good use.

after covering the whole zoo in 5 hours, we were all sticky and sweaty and we decided to head home for a shower before hitting town for dinner and twilight. this led to a very impromptu meet-his-mum session and damn, i was so nervous! but i think his mum likes me :) anyway the weekend crowd in town was unbelievable we had a really late dinner cos we had to wait 45minutes for a table in din tai fung! i taught him how to smile with teeth while waiting for the table. haha!

got tickets for twilight at 11.40pm and i was so tired by then i was drifting in and out of sleep throughout the movie. i don't know what's nice about the movie and edward is too fair to be considered good looking to me. haha.. after a tiring day on sat, i slept for 15hours on sunday! :)

yay!! everybody let's embrace the sunshine and the wonderful world after exams!! although the last paper wasn't that ideal, but still, it's finally over and i'm really really glad! this semester's exam is one of the hardest to go through, don't know why.

met mag the night after my exams, had dinner at holland v's crystal jade and we over-ordered as usual. it was followed by wala wala and a veryyyy impromptu trip to zouk. it was quite boring cos i can't drink as i drove there. and we forced ziyan to come down, when her exams have not ended! wahahha. but still, spending time with them makes me happy enough:)

sigh, so many things to complain about!! Number one, studying sucks! oh my goodness, the notes and textbooks are my ultimate enemies. studying wasn't that bad when i was in secondary school! i can't wait for all my papers to end on the 26th. 2 more weeks!

few days ago on my way to school by the mrt, i was grumbling to myself how early it is and how sleepy i am and being upset with my dad for not letting me have the car, i saw this handicapped man with only one leg and he was walking with crutches. i was very impressed with him cos he did not need a wheelchair, and he was just there, among the morning crowd, like anybody else, taking the escalator and all, he didn't even need to take the lift! at the same time, i felt really guilty with myself. i'm thankful for this guy who made me appreciate what i have (at least for that day) and i hope he's well!

On 18th of september, my birthday, mag came down to my house at 12+am and surprised me with a very delicious slice of tiramisu cake! it really came as a surprise to me, and i was so touched i almost wanted to cry. hahaha, just kidding. but really appreciate it. she treated me to dimsum supper after that too. hazel and ludi, both of you are greatly missed!

the day followed by a stupid quiz in school, and then dinner and drinks at boiler room, st james. not a bad place, but they only have tiger beer for jugs. the band sings really well, and the gay singer is supper funny!!(he also took away zr's first kiss!!) the other singer is damn cute (i think!). and he sang "fall for you" for me. okie lar, he merely said "this song is dedicated to the birthday girl over there" hahahaha. i thank my friends who accompanied me on my birthday that night. you guys were great. and special thanks to mag and ziyan, both of you are really one's true friends.

I had quite a fun day today. Skipped my morning lecture and evening lecture today (the former starts too early and the latter ends too late) and went down to NUS to meet the 3Zs. ZY, ZR and ZQ. Got a little lost in the school but i still think i'm good at directions. we had lunch together and went to ZR's hall. did nothing there and later I met meli and ws to go to ws's hall. did nothing there too and we then went to meli's hall. once again, we did nothing in meli's hall. i visited 3 different halls in NUS today, really nothing better to do! hahaha. but well, chatting is good enough for me. i had a good time.
oh ya i met my ex colleagues from loreal in NUS too! they were doing a roadshow for kiehls there. when i was working at loreal last year, i loved my job there. although i was doing accounting stuffs, i was sitting with the marketing ppl. i think it's such fun organising launch parties, testing out new lipstick colours, deciding how an advertisement should look like, choosing ur beauty advisor's uniforms etc. it was like an ideal job for me. but why?? why am i stuck in accounting/auditing? i have such vague career paths =(

Hi all. I know my blog looks "ugly" now, as what wilyson told me. Well, it's because i tried to change to a new layout but i messed up the html, and therefore i had to use a standard template provided by blogger. hmm, but at least i changed everything to pink colour right? not that bad.

Into the 2nd week of school, everything's still fine, i haven't been falling asleep during classes, i hope it stays this way. Still having lots of free time though:) I'm currently watching sex and the city, right from season 1. And i'm sleeping alot! Too much in fact! i sleep for about 10hrs everyday.

hi all, here are some photos i can find in my comp. some are dated as far as a few weeks back. all were wonderful time spent.

went drinking with the usual people at our usual drinking place. i didn't drink though. jasper was so drunk that he made a fool of himself and us! embarassing ok!! cannot bring him out to drink anymore.

Celebrated Jiemei's birthday on 20th June. you can see how happy she was (i hope!) from the photos.

we found a new hangout place, which is a chocolate-theme cafe own by a really cute boss. but..that's not the point la, it's good cos it's near the girls' house (i'm th only one not staying in that area) and it closes at 1am. we've been there for a few times already.

had a girls' night out a few saturdays back. i remembered we did many things that night. first, dinner, then we wanted to go to sentosa to catch Songs of the sea but unfortunately they were experiencing technical problems that night (how unlucky), but we still went ahead to sentosa and had a good time sight-seeing. after that we went to have some coffee and ice cream, then we caught a movie, and it was followed by my favourite rochor beancurd. so many things done in one night!

tried out baking one fine day at ws's house. a couple of failed attempts, a few successful attempts. haha.. i think i have a little talent in squeezing the batter into the papercups. maybe i could be a pastry chef one day, then i'll make the nicest chocolate and oreo cheesecake for myself!!

sent hazel off to shanghai last night :( 6 months without my best friend will be tough but i believe we will see each other again in the blink of an eye!

my internship ended last friday. was having mixed feelings. on one hand i feel happy of course, finally i can have my well deserved break when i can wake up at 2pm everyday. but on the other hand, i know i will miss my colleagues and hearing our laughter everyday. i think i am quite lucky because i always meet nice colleagues. this bunch of colleagues really changed my internship from a dreaded one to a enjoyable one.

went to kukup for a short trip during the weekends with my colleagues. had lots of fun, the food is good, the COST of living is low (ie things are cheap), and it's a way different feeling than being in the city.

i plan to post a longer entry but suddenly decided to catch dark knights now. i'll blog again with many many photos!

Hi all! First of all i must tell everyone that i'm very happy cos i think i've done well for the last semester. checked my results last night and i've got an A+, an A- and 3B+!! this may be just mediocre grades to some, but to me, i think it's very good! i mean, it's the first time i ever seen an "A" appearing in my results slip. i think i should go shopping to reward myself.

work has been tiring, so much that i'll be on the bed at 12am on weekdays. it always amazes me that just sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours can be so tiring. and audit is really boring, not my cup of tea. other than that, my job is not too bad, considering i have a great bunch of colleagues. i think i chat too much in the office, and my desk is nearest to the boss's room. but you see, it's not my fault, my colleagues love to talk to me:)

I miss the long weekend already :( Was so busy in the office today, getting prepared for the out audit tomorrow. kinda exciting, and kinda looking forward to it. but still, if only i have more time to play!!

The long weekend was fun, celebrated Meitheng's birthday on friday. Met ZR and GH on saturday evening, was trying to think of something different to do cos we were really bored. ZR suggested going to anchor point, not a bad idea, visiting a mall which you've never been to. then we went to ikea for dinner but the eatery there was closed for renovation! how bad luck! such a disappointment for me:( Dinner was followed be dessert and then Ironman at shaw towers. got a little lost while getting to shaw towers but i found my way, i'm good. hahaha and pumped petrol for the first time in my life! went to the wrong side of the kiosk cos i didnt know the petrol tank was the at left side of the car. amusing and embarassing. although it was only the three of us but i had quite a good time :) Sunday was good too! had dinner at meitheng's place. the steamboat and bbq thing which her mum always prepare for us is yummmy!! ktv until 1am, back to meitheng's house where we chatted and read magazines on the bed and fall asleep. i was the first to sleep (Mag, i've became you!!). hope to have more of such fun soon!

the holidays zoomed past so quickly and i'm already into the second day of my internship. the first day all i did was (trying to) read a superrrr thick auditing manual, and today, i was completely lost at work! i had no idea how to do my work. kinda wish i was in a non public accounting firm then all i will be doing is routine work. but on the other hand i'll be learning alot from being in this company now. i really learnt alot in a day but it is tiring:(

i'm so happy that the weekends are here, it has really been a busy week, and i guess it will continue to be for the rest of the semester. anyway i spent my whole saturday at home but i'm really happy about it, i get to sleep as much as i could, and watch australian open the whole day:) doings lots of shopping lately too :)) and i learnt how to park the car today! :)))

a few couples around me broke up recently. it makes me wonder how strong a relationship can really be? these couples have been together for at least 3 years, one as long as 7 years, people really change. on the other hand, there's this guy i know who registered his marriage with his girlfriend yesterday. i read his girlfriend's blog, and i realised she is really naive. you know people always tend to see only one side of everything. i wish i could tell her what's happening behind all those "sweet" stuffs the guy did for her. but of course, i'm not so evil, i wish them the very best, cos they would need lots of luck for it to work. sounds mean la, but it's true.

hi guys, this is my first post in 2008. though kinda late, but happy new year to all! hope that 2008 will be a good one for all my loved ones.
school have started once again, with dread. it's going to be a busy semester, with at least 19 to 24 hours of lessons each week, plus driving lessons and tuition. yes, in case you haven't know, i am a tuition teacher now. hahaha, yup start laughing. but i think i'm not too bad a teacher, though for a while i forgot that you have to share the electrons in a covalent bond (i'm sure some of you have forgotten that too). first week of school and i'm already very busy, although it's not entirely cos of school. i hardly have enough sleep, even during the weekends. but i'm not really complaining la, i kinda like being busy...
i need to prepare for my presentation tomorrow, on a MONDAY 0830! how great. now i'm complaining. i'll update with photos of mag's party soon!

i'm typing very slowly now cos i just painted my nails. checked my results last night. gotten the first C+ in my uni life. damn, was hoping to not have any Cs at all. there's two other mods which i hoped i could get A, but end up getting B+ for both. it's damn disappointing. and up till now i have no As at all! =((((
on a happier note, christmas eve was good! i've my family, my friends, lots of food, what else could i ask for? slept my whole christmas day away though, cos i reached home at 8 in the morning. one more week to the start of a new sem, this holiday passed so much more quickly than i expected it to be.

today was a great day! went to the gym with glenda n esther, then the sauna, followed by a dip in the swimming pool when it was drizzling. it has been years since i went to the gym, the last time was probably with wilyson in sec school..so yup, 4 years! it's unbelievable. after that we went to explore city plaza! hahaha, it feels like a shopping mall in malaysia. wanted to try the chou dou fu at geylang but it's closed on mondays. well, hopefully we'll get to eat it next week.

last week was not bad too. Caught my first R21 movie(thought im not 21 yet), lust caution. oh ya, i walked a dog for the first time too! brought stitch along when we went to katong for dinner after mj. he looked so cute jumping up the stairs! hahha, i still remember being very afraid of stitch when i went to jas's house for the first time. i think i grew to like him cos sometimes he brings me luck when he rests under my chair when we're playing mj. hahaha.

many people have been asking me "so what have u been doing?", and my answer is nothing. have been lazing my days away, and treating the tv as my best friend. somehow i wish i have a job, it feels weird to be doing nothing constructive everyday (told you i'm a workaholic). anyway met up with the girls last night at holland village. we had mexican food for dinner, and it was not bad, a change from what we usually have. then we went to this ice cream parlour for some unique ice cream, it was not bad too. was about to enter walas when we saw settler's cafe across the street and decided to go there instead. it was a good girls' night out. and look at the uno stacko below, it was damn high, like twice the original height!

the exams are finally over. not that i studied very hard for it, but yea, i'm glad it's finally over. havent done anything much since my exams ended. so far only went for a swim at my granny's place, shopping, mj and of course, more tv. most of my friends' exams have not ended, but it'll soon be. and i predict more mahjong, more shopping, more sleep and more tv to come for the next 5 weeks. actually not that much of mj cos jasper said he will be busy in camp until the 2nd week of dec. oh ya, and not forgetting working on our project with esther and glenda so that we can win a trip to paris! hahahaha yup the first price of the competition is a trip to paris, "with all expenses paid". and i wonder if the "expenses" includes shopping costs, it'll will be great if it does. and guess what's our group name? it's "MEGamitezz". i'm seriously impressed by glenda's ability to come up with such a lame name, i can't think of anything more lame than that. but please note that MEG stands for Michelle Esther Glenda. haha!

i wonder if i should get a holiday job, number one to beautify my resume and secondly, to have more money to spend on unnecessary stuffs. moreover i can't imagine myself slacking for 5 whole weeks. i think i'm secretly a workaholic! it's true. although i can be quite lazy at times, but, yea, believe me.

sometimes i wonder what will my life be like if i've a serious boyfriend now, not those whom you'll call when you feel like it. will he allow me to play mj all the time? will i have so much time to meet the harmony peeps almost every week? will he stop my spendthrift behaviour? a guy once told me "you'll be a great girlfriend if you're less playful and have lesser activities with your friends". i can't imagine myself being tied up to a guy all the time. not in the sense that i want to have more guys around me, but in the sense that i want to have time to do my own stuffs. but then again, what if i'm really so in love with him? hahaha then my dear friends, please don't scold me for zhong se qing you ok! but i guess i probably won't la. heehee.

sometimes i am really amazed by myself. i woke up at 11am today, and i watched tv all the way to 4.30pm! i practically did nothing, nothing at all! not even getting my breakfast or lunch. it was only when i felt hungry that i decided that i need to off the tv. did some studying then it was 4 hours of tv from 8pm. you know channel 8 is re-telecasting all the old drama serials nowadays? i love old schools shows! and there was titanic on channel 5 today too. how can u resist not watching the scene "jack...i can fly!'?? so.. GREAT! exam is in 4 days' time. well..at least i did some studying in between. some, but not enough. i hope to get good results this sem, i mean..for every sem.

once again, i skipped my monday classes today. i don't know how many times have i skipped that two tutorials already. but i really cant drag myself up at 6.30 in the morning after two late nights during the weekends. friday was supposed to be an assignment-rushing day for me but it became a mahjong-rushing day instead. hahaha, bad choice bad choice.

was supposed to celebrate zq's birthday on saturday but everybody drank except him(had to drive girlfriend home)! drank till two puked and three got knocked out (thank you ziyan for helping me drink so much!!), luckily Qiang Ma(zq's mum) confiscated that bottle of i dont know what...black colour absolute vodka, if not i think zr won't be able to stop. it's really damn lethal! especially when it's mixed with sour plum juice, worst drink on earth! they mixed it with water too, i didn't try though, i'll be dead if i did.

it's raining cats and dogs now and i really feel like eating pancakes. wanted to wake up early for mac-d hotcakes, but i missed it by fifteen minutes.

finally having some time to myself until evening. anyway first post after being twenty. thank you to all friends who made my birthday wonderful. especially those whom i dont expect to remember my birthday but they did. ok maybe it's cos of the reminder in friendster/facebook. haha, but still, at least they made an effort to wish me okay! there's a person, who don't have my phone number, nor my msn, but every year he'll send me a msg on friendster to wish me happy birthday though we don't really talk to each other, dont know why but i just felt very..heartwarming? of course, everytime when something good happens, there'll be something bad. people who forgot my birthday or don't make an effort. it's ok if we aren't close, i understand why cos i forget birthdays too. but what about those who are really close to you? damn disappointing, so much that i don't wish to talk about them any longer.
the recess week is here! but i have 2 projects, 2 assignments, 2 quiz to prepare during the LONGGG one week! and i'm only left with wed and fri, how to do???

I had a really fun-filled weekend! It's like i'm really really tired now. slept at 5am on fri and 4am on sat. i guess i'm skipping school tmr. i'm really tired, plus, gotta do something important tomorrow afternoon. anyway fri was dinner and then drinks at labyrinth with the usual 2hm people. i think all of us haven't been drinking for quite some time and our alcohol tolerance have decreased. one bottle of jim bean and, all of us were basically high. the last time we still could order extra jugs of beer on top of that one bottle of jim bean. i think i did something out of mind but i shall not think about it already.
sat was a yummy seven-course dinner (damn full!) and then mindcafe with my best friends. we went crazy in there. banana slap and taboo are super fun!! supper at geylang and then....A SHOCKING DISCOVERY. it's like, discovery of the year. couldn't believe my eyes man. slept for 5hrs and had to wake up for an online project discussion(SUNDAY MORNING!). i was practically falling asleep on my laptop. then jas's place for, the-weekly-thing.
thinking of the week ahead makes me sickkk. presentation, quiz, projects, plus my birthday in between. how sad. school is a chore. okie i need to sleep.

terry says my blog is very lag so i am blogging now, when i am supposed to prepare for my presentation plus an assignment due on friday. had to go to facebook to save all these photos from hazel's profile cos we took too many photos that i think it will take years to be send in msn. i think there are much more which she didnt upload and i didnt save. recently we have found a new way of taking photos, which is placing the camera on the car, near the windscreen and then set the timer and take shots of ourselves standing in front of the car. i think it's a damn creative idea of ours and so far the carparks we've been to (serene centre and odeon towers) are quite empty, which is really good! hahaha. anyway these are the photos we took while having dinner at a jap restaurant at odeon towers. i thought the food was okay, not that fantastic but it's the company that matters. oohh how cliche. anyway the funniest thing that happened that night was when we lied to hazel that each table can only order a plate of sashimi and we had ordered ours already cos she was late. we placed some pathetic 3 pieces of salmon on her plate and you should really see her reaction. ok im going back to my work!

ludi is leaving for canada again today. it will be another 8months or so till she'll be back. it kinda makes me sad, even though i should be well used to this kind of departure already. i was once really angry with god(if there's one), he made my boyfriend(then) and my best friend leave me, one to the US and one to canada. i think it's damn unfair, damn damn damn unfair. nobody would know how much i've gone through to adapt to it. or maybe shua knows a little, as his 3 best friends left Sg too. anyway on the very day last yr when ludi left for canada, i got to know this guy. at first it was really exciting and everything, i thought, hey, it's not that bad afterall, god(IF THERE IS ONE) actually compensated me! but nah, it didnt turn out good, a big mistake in fact but it doesnt bother me anymore(as in, that guy). i still think it's damn unfair, but i guess i've already put away such feeling, i mean the feeling is still there, but i try to hide it somewhere. i guess in life people grow up and people move on. but the thing is, people move on at different pace, so that's the problem. anyway i'm glad luluuuu is still like before, we still like to sing the same old songs at the karaoke, maybe a little more vain, which actually makes it better cos she doesn't complain when we look at clothes and cosmetics anymore. i know this is a very random post and my thoughts are all over and my sentences dont link. bear with it la, you seldom see such posts from me right.

The past 2 days had been a memorable experience for me, and i learned many things which can't be taught in a classroom. it's definitely not easy organising such a big event, which just a few people, maybe 15, we took about 9 months, but we did it anyway, and i'm really proud of ourselves. from deciding the beneficiary, which is by the way, the Children's Cancer Foundation, to getting the event venue, to getting the sponsors, planning 2 full days of performances and activities, contacting the secondary/primary schools, performers, printing the publicity materials, setting up the venue, all the canvassing, etc etc. We really did alot, all by ourselves. I'm surprised that we can go thus far. I think there were at least 600 people involved in this (the line dancing segment already had 300).

Through this experience, i've seen the many types of people around. at first i was pissed, at those people who were so irresponsible and.. i dont know, just sickening. but then i realised, although there may be these bad eggs around, but there are also people who are not in our committee, but gave all out to lend us a helping hand. so i guess it balances.

Anyway, i had alot of fun, though very tired. for once, i think i did accomplish something in life. =)

(actually typed "i am sick" but decided to change cos it sounded wrong). i am really pissed cos ive alot of things to do during the weekends and i cant be sick! my throat hurts, must be the chocolate ice cream cake and many other things i ate. and i've not fallen sick for i think half a yr already, must be jasper who passed the stupid virus to me. i;m feeling damn irritable. the cold tablet made me slept for 12hrs and i am STILL feeling drowsy. and ive no lunch at home. i'm lonely, sick, and hungry. =((((((((((

I think today is one of the most boring days i spent in months. Woke up at 11, had my breakfast, watched tv, decided to skip lecture, took a nap, read advance theory book, play comp games and then follow my mum to collect my sis's cake. I really felt damn bored, nobody to go out with, everybody's in school or at work, and didnt wanna go shopping cos i just bought 3 bags in 2 weeks. my dad suddenly became nice and bought them for me but i felt kinda bad for being so spendthrift. Really a boring day, but luckily the rest of the week are packed. i prefer being busy than idling!

I think all the weekend sleepless nights are taking its toll on my complexion! my complexion is damn damn bad now. I tried using the emergency mask i bought but to no avail, and i've been diligently applying whitening essence around my dark eye circles, i hope it helps.

I'm superrrrr tired now! started my day with a 0830 seminar, then a 3 hr break before another 3 hr lecture, which i fell asleep twice in. boring, i tell you. school ended at 430pm but i've TOTS stuffs to do at 630pm so i went to zhongming's room to play PS2 by myself. he wasn't in his room but luckily he hid his key in the secret hiding place so i could go into his room. played ps2 until my back acheddd!! you know it's damn tiring when you have nothing to do too?? Sold tickets in the other halls until like 11pm then my mum came to fetch me home, and she told me to either get my driving license asap or find a boyfriend who drives. sigh, what are mums for you tell me? can't wait to push me to other people just because she doesn't want to come and fetch me.

Oh ya another thing, i really can't stand irresponsible people. just because you couldn't get a room in hall, doesn't mean you can quit your position just like that? so who's gonna fill up your position? i mean, please have some sense of responsibility, everything will end in 2 weeks, so why give up now after all the hard work? i know i don't contribute that much, but i do what i really can. damn it.

AND....i'm listening to ong and leong now, it's hilarious!! i cant stop laughing for goodness sake!!!

guohui! i listened to you and went for class on friday! aren't you proud of me? hahaha. anyway, fri's morning lecture was horrible, i think i'm not going for that lecture anymore. then i met nick to go for our elective, we spent a freaking 1 hr to look for that stupid lecture hall, and then the lecturer decide to end the lecture early (which i don't really mind too), so we spent 1 hr looking for the LT, and half an hour inside.

after school i went home to take a 4hr nap (cos i woke up at 0630), watched some tv and then to jas's place. and this is a typical friday (only diff is zr stayed AWAKE throughout the night). oh yea and we started playing poker already, and i lost the most, but still, it was fun.

this week was interesting. celebrated ludi's 21st on wednesday, happy 21st birthday to my best friend! i'll try to post up the photos soon. thurs was a company event, bowling tournament. haha, basically i just went there to eat =)) met jasper at ps last night and then we walked to cathay, then to the tau huay place, then to bugis to find ziyan! my god my legs are damn tired. of cos, it was our weekly activity until this morning, and then i slept till 2pm. woke up and went shopping, met kl for dinner, ben n jerry's ice cream and drinking at timbre. i'm really freaking tired i tell you, just now when i was walking, i felt like i could fall asleep any moment. probably catching a movie tmr so i'd better have enough sleep or i'll pay $9.50 to sleep in the cinema.

school is starting next week! really super looking forward to it, NOT. damn damn damn, i hate schoooool. 2 more long years to go.

2 weeks since i last blogged. attended my cousin's wedding last sunday, it was really fun, but tiring. their 2nd march in during the dinner was really touching, the background music was Wonderful Tonight, i almost teared. hahaha. i want to get married too!! haha. nah, just kidding.

overnight mahjong for two consecutive days during the weekend. with a shopping session in between! can't believe how much energy i had. anyway i realised playing in a very cold room makes you less sleepy (jas revamped his room so the table could fit in), but then again, it may be the coffee and tea we drank. i only drank half of mine cos jas spilled my tea with his big butt. zq said we're very "auntie" cos we drank hot tea! hai, zq bian le...

AND, my timetable for next semester sucks. really sucky. 5 day week with 2hr lessons on mon tue and fri PLUS 830 lesson on mon wed fri. HOW is it possible for me to survive taking train all the way to ulu boon lay at 7am in the morning?! my biggest regret in life now is delaying my driving lessons. SEE LA, now must wake up 6am in the morning. argh! you know what, the fastest i can get my license is probably in jan, which is, way after next sem is over. ok i think everybody has listened to me complained enough already. hahaha, let me grumble for a bit, ok?=)

you know sometimes i really really dont understand myself. just when i thought i have finally gotten over it, i realised it actually isn't so; just when i thought i've finally found it, i realised it may not be the case. anddd i have no determination plus i'm quite fickle-minded. i dont do what i tell myself i should do. oh god please help me be a better person, help me do the right thing and help me get over the past, the past which i couldn't bring back anymore, no matter how hard ive tried.

yay tgif! work has been rather fine this week, had a 3 hr facial on monday so i practically did no work at all after lunch. and had lunch appointments for 2 days this week, which equals to company paying for nice lunch. hee. ok ok photos ahead!

somebody delivered raspberry meringue (already half eaten in that photo!) to my office and it was really really nice (i eat alot when i work!! very bad). but i think there were too much liquor in it as i felt kinda blurry and headache after eating it, really!! and sleepy too, that never fail to happen around 3-4pm.

i'm so tired i can;t take it anymore! i think i've aged, in the past i could go sleepless for two nights! =(( karaoke plus overnight mahjong on friday, slept for 3 hours, then to my aunt's house for some preparation for my cousin's wedding (which is one month later, can't wait), slept for 10hrs and still gotta force myself to wake up at 12 this morning to go do my TOTS stuffs, which i had to be friendly and professional all the time, quite sucky and quite fun at the same time la, haha. reached home just in time for dinner and before i could finish my dinner, my aunt called to say my grandmother is ill. so my mum was very worried and we rushed down immediately. i hope my grandmother recovers soon. and did i mention i've gotten lousy results this sem? and there's work tmr!! how sad.

last day of May today, 2 more months till school re-opens. i hope time dont pass so quickly. nothing special happening lately, but everyday is still as good=) wow i sound so optimistic. haha.. anyway today's a public holiday and i am so glad there's a public holiday this week!! sitting behind the head of my department is so not fun at all! one hour seems like a year, can't wait to go back to my own seat on monday. went shopping with my mum and siblings today and my brother was such a poor thing, he carried all our shopping bags.

this past week wasn't really good, but i shan't think about it anymore.

my workload is really inconsistent. if i can balance and tie the figures, then good, i'll be very free the whole day, reading magazines (i have already finished reading all the June's female magazines!) and talking on the phone and chatting with my colleague who sits near me. she reminds me of friend moreena, who practically speaks non stop and very loudly. HAHA. BUT if i cant balance the figures, then i'll spend hours trying to do it, and it's really stressful and frustrating when i cant do it!

spent most of my weekend sleeping. haha i dont know why i am so tired, but i can really sleep all the time! other than sleeping, it was jas's house on fri and grandma's house on saturday, where i just sit around eating and eating while my parents and my grandma and her sibilings and my aunties and uncles played blackjack. i didnt join them in blackjack as my grandma's siblings talk REALLY loudly and i feel like my eardrums will burst anytime. wanted to go swimming with my cousins but didnt bring my swimwear=( they are really cute!!

the weekends came and went in a flash! instead of making myself feel more recharged, i'm feeling more tired instead. i think i need more sleep!! i cant get enough of sleeping, how?

sat was lunch, then shopping, then dessert at liang seah street, followed by more shopping, then cheesecake, and then dinner! all in 4 hours time! i think i'm going to put on alot of weight. and then an inpromptu mahjong session with my cousin's friends. i won=)) actually, it's not about the money, it's about the winning. quoting from zhenqiang, getting a zi mo 5 tai is "bi3 f*** hai2 shuang3". hahaha! (ok this is very crude i know) i dont know if what he said is true though.

spent my day sleeping today, and then to meitheng's 21st at night. we met this scary man. ok we asked this mid forties guy to help us take a photo when he was passing by us with his wife. and then, later, after taking the photo and walking for another 10more mins, while we were getting into the car, he approached us to ask us to send him the photo he took just now! by the way, he is very stupid because he took the photo with a digicam and he thought he took it with a handphone and wanted us to MMS him the photo. according to him, his "wife wanted some reference, dont know why". he was so freaky and we left quickly.

work is starting again tmr=( i hope i get more facials.

work has been really tiring. didnt know just sitting in front of a computer can be so draining. 4th day of work and i'm already having a headache, as in, literally. my eyes are very tired too. sigh sigh sigh. it's not that i dont like working, i kinda like working, but i hate to feel tired. can't even join the rest at zq's house now after zr's birthday dinner. they must be enjoying themselves now. =((

met ludi and meitheng for lunch today! finally met ludi after 1 yr and 8 days. haha. i walked over to cineleisure at 12.30pm when the sun was scorching hot, and i became another shade darker. hahaha. i think i'm gonna spend every single cent i earned (or even more than that) by just working in town area because all the shopping centres are just a few steps away.

and i'm feeling very depressed now. not because of work, not because i cant be at zq's house, and no, not because i'm gonna spend all my money away too.

first day of work was fine, quite an eye-opener too. especially when i looked at all the brand managers, it seems like i'm watching the devil wears prada. hahaha. working in a company in the fashion line is so different from my previous company, a logistics line. i wouldn't say i prefer this one though, both have its pros and cons. i hope the company gives me lots of cosmetics and frangrances. hahaha. anyway, i'm doing accounting stuffs! wished i paid more attention during acc101, now i'm struggling to remember what i've learnt. haha. but i cant believe i'll be doing this after i graduate, looking at excel spreadsheets sucks. i prefer a job like the brand manager. you know, just dress well everyday, look good and that's all you do. ya, right. i heard their job scope is to promote their brand, think of marketing strategies and all.

ludi's coming back tmr! yay! and zq's suddenly coming back too! double yay! i think i'm going to bed, was struggling to keep my eyes open this afternoon, especially after lunch. gotta think of what to wear tmr already.

it's 4.30am in the morning and i just took a bath, waiting for my hair to dry before i can hit the bed. studied for quite awhile today with ziyan and then met the rest for dinner and drinks. yes, drinking, acting like my exams have ended. argh, 3 more papers to go, i really cant wait. and i screwed up my only small mere chance of getting an A this sem by not seeing the "values are in 000s" in the accounting paper. feel like killing myself, how careless can i get? i wonder if i can even get close to having an A for the rest of the sems to go. anyway i had fun just now, beating jasper and zq at pool.
