i am blogging using my new laptop now =) went clubbing last night with the girls (mag hazel wenlin sui pinyue). the preparation was done in my room and looking everyone dressing up and fussing over their make up was quite interesting. anyway the club was super damn crowded. and the girls got so drunk i couldnt control them. only i was the sober one u know! lost them at the dance floor but what happened after that..hehe, is not bad. lucky ive not class on thursdays cos i slept at 530 in the morning. today i'm gonna sweep the floor and throw my clothes into the washing machine! gee.

i'm back home again! today's national day and i finally got to catch some sleep to make up for my lost of sleep for the past 2 nights. only managed to catch 4hrs of sleep each night. who says staying in hall allows u to sleep more? and yesterday i had my first lecture, it was horrible! i was stoning the whole 2 hours cos i had no notes, not that having notes will help u stay awake though..

and i went to malaysia for some shopping with hazel yesterday! we were quite scared and tried to keep a low profile on our way there, but when we reach the shopping mall, really, all hell broke loose. there were really good bargains over there and i hope to go there again soon.

these few days have been hectic. last thursday went to catch lake house with ziyan (i fell asleep for 10mins during the movie) and at night went to watch a certain someone's singing competition at a music bar. i drank a whole pint of hoegaarden! at first i was proud of myself cos i actually felt quite alright, i still could take a bus home at 11.30pm! but once i reached home i start to feel all nauseous and dizzy and headache. so yea, i guess i still suck at drinking, it's improving though, really.

went to collect my room keys with hazel on friday. then i felt super stressed cos i had to move in on sunday as the camp starts on monday! very unprepared. so we went to buy all the mattresses and bedsheets and all sorts of things and cleaned up our room on saturday. anyway that evening i met the 2hm people and the guys r really lame.



so i moved into hall on sunday night. the first night i didnt really sleep cos hazel and i were squeezing on one single bed (she's afraid to sleep alone on her bed) and i couldnt get used to sleeping without aircon. so the next day sucked pretty bad cos i was in a grouchy mood plus i never did like camps at all. by the end of the day i felt really ill. so i was back home on tuesday (after one day of camp!haha) but i guess i'm going back tmr. but..i've still many things undone! argh. oh and i went shopping in ikea and queensway today with ziyan (apparently she ran out of camp too!)hee.

the weekends have been good. friday i met my colleagues for lunch and then went to changi airport with kenneth to settle his stuffs. after he went back to work, i stayed at the airport alone and watch the aeroplanes. very dramatic i know, but it's good to be alone at times to think about things u didnt really have the chance to think about. then i went to tampines to shop alone and had a drink alone while waiting for henry to knock off. and then at night it was ben&jerry(sinful), pirates of the carribean (nice movie!), supper(even more sinful), and esplanade. the breeze at esplanade was very refreshing and relaxing=) so i went home at 5am, slept at 6am, and woke up at 11am!! u know i've became such a light sleeper. i used to sleep until 3pm during holidays!

went to the library with henry on sat. it's been ages since i stepped into a library, i like to read alot, but didnt really had the time to do so cos of the A levels, then work. so i borrowed a book and helped henry found the book which he wanted(i'm studious!) then we went over to chinatown for me to meet ziyan and kailing. we ate the famous desserts(again!!) over there, walked around aimlessly until we were hungry and ate frog porridge for dinner. then we walked around aimlessly again until we decided to go over to clarke quay for a drink. hazel came to meet us, chat a little, and went over to a pub to meet henry and his friend(or friend's twin brother, haha!). ok i must announce that my drinking has improved!! i drank quite a bit and i didnt feel drunk! heehee.

that's alot of things i did for 2 days ain't it.

today's the first day of my jobless life. after working for more than 7 months i, i acutally felt quite lost today. it's like, i feel like i'm wasting my time away, (and i went shopping! spent money!), a part of me wish i was in the office. but anyway, i guess i need to get ready for school soon.

just watched a film on HBO just now. Urban Cowboy. It's a movie produced in 1980, and it was really good(made me shed a few tears), the OST's good too! i feel kinda emotional now..=(

my winamp's playing WO MEN ZHE YI BAN now. i miss little lulu, and the times we spent studying together(didnt really study actually) and listening to this song.

at the airport. meli's t-shirt gave us a chance to talk to a group of cute angmohs! jiemei likes the one with lots of chest hair.

had a great saturday eating and shopping and buying stuffs and exploring arab street. haha! first it was walking a long way to find the "fish bluff noodles" with ziyan and kailing. we ate the noodles and claypot rice. while walking to bugis we passed by arab street and we decided to take a look there. the shops there sell nothing but fabrics and clothes and maybe a couple of shops selling some sequins or acessories. but it was interesting though. ok anyway we went to have dessert and three of us ate red bean paste, ginko barley beancurd skin, black glutinous rice with icecream and mango with sago! damn fattening i know but the desserts are really irresistable okay.

just now after bathing i put on a facial mask and read magazine on my bed. it feels really nice to be relaxing like this once in a while. but anyway i'm gonna be damn free soon after i stop working. but school's starting in 2 weeks time =(

few more days to my last day at work. it's kinda sad you know. i've been working there for more than 7 months and ive many great colleagues there. and a someone who i wish i didnt knew, but i'm still happy i knew him. sigh sigh sigh. i dont really know what to say nowadays. been down with fever every night for the past week. i was 90% positive that it's gonna be dengue, but thank god i'm fine now.

i spent the whole sunday sleeping! but the more i sleep, the worse i feel, it's like my eyes are puffy and my muscles are aching, and i dont know why! all i did was slept at 3am last night, but i woke up at 10! anyway i'm super sad now cos england's out of the world cup. watched it together with the 2hm ppl at zhen qiang's house last night after laksa and boardgames at katong. fell asleep 5mins after the start of brazil-france match. ok..it's time for me to sleep, again.

so you see, basically what we do is eat and sleep. no la just kidding, we do our work too ok!!

time really passes very quickly nowadays! on weekday it's work, and after work i'll meet my friends or if not i'll go home and watch tv and soon it'll be bed time and then the next morning will be work again. and weekends will be spent outside too and time just zoooom past. i've been drinking for the 4th consecutive friday. this is very bad. but i guess i still can afford to do this cos i'm still young=D but then i'm spending too much money i think, what i earn, i spend. gotta save up i know, but there's too much shopping to be done!

just sent bern off at the airport just now. sigh. another someone faraway from me. first it was someone i love, then it was my best friend, now it's my old friend. i always get this mixed feeling when i go to the airport, must be all the past memories..

met ziyan and glenda (the happy-go-lucky reunite once again) after work. shopped around with glenda while waiting for ziyan and everywhere's having sale. seeing the big 4 letters makes me excited. anyway we tried wasabi ice cream today. glenda thinks we are brave cos we dare to try such a weird flavour. but actually i'm the only brave one cos the reason glenda chose wasabi flavour was because it was on a promotional price! (she wanted the traditional chocolate at first). then we ate steamboat for dinner and i am very very, very full.

i realised that time passes very quickly this year. half of 2006 has already gone. soon i;ll be in uni going through another phase of my life. but somehow, i'm not really looking forward to it, i dont know why.

so many thoughts but it's hard to pen them down.

the weekends have been crazy. met ziyan and glenda after work on friday for dinner and some shopping. the happy go lucky! ok then i went over to marina sqaure to meet mag and glenda and we ate dessert at the japenese restaurant, and then we went over to katong tp have supper with caryn and wahman. we ate beef brisket, club sandwich and pineapple buns. u know how guilty i feel for eating 3 meals in one night! i told wenlin i wont eat anything for the next day, but i did. haha.. and then while we were already going home, with me, wenlin and mag in the car, wenlin and i decided that we havent persuaded mag to go to ntu enough, so we went to wen's house to talk. and then someone casually mentioned about mahjong then we wanted to play mahjong so mag called chengxi over and it was mahjong from 1am to 5am. (we played super slowly!) i lost money=(

i went home, slept for half an hour (didnt bathe before i sleep. gee) woke up and prepared to go to work! i am so impressed by myself. but i was half dead in the office, luckily it was only half day. after work i went to parkway to shop around. went home, changed, and went out again to meet my 4courage clique. my mum was impressed by how energetic i am too. anyway it was nice seeing the girls and arthur of course. after dinner (and really nice dessert) we went shopping and i feel so bad for neglecting arthur! but anyway he'll understand. i miss the times we spent together in sec3 and 4. memories will always be close to my heart. so anyway i was awake from fri 6.30am to sunday 1am! i think i'm gonna stay at home today.
